July 3, 2012 9:11 am Connors is a scientist first and foremost. He was keeping records of all of his experiments. Turning the city into lizards was just another one of those. To Peter walking in unprotected, I think his curiosity just got the best of him and he walked in blind. All of the cops got turned back into humans. They definitely showed three of them reverting on screen.

May 23, 2012 12:54 pm Marvel did try to give it a jolt by bringing in Whedon and then Moore, but neither writer managed to successfully capture the magic that BKV did with Alphona...or so I heard.

Why should the publishers order 12 issues of a new series if they don't know whether it will be financially sustainable past issue one? Whether we like it or not, comic books are still a niche hobby. They don't have the broad consumer support for Marvel or DC to just order that many issues and not have an audience to sell it to.
